The campsite is located in a shaded area, which allows vacationers not to "burn" themselves during the summer heat.

If you are ready to sacrifice the elementary benefits of civilization and the usual comfort, and in return get the cleanest sea, almost virgin nature, picturesque views and unforgettable impressions, then be sure to go to Cape Sarych, which is located not far from Sevastopol.

This place is a paradise for those tourists who are used to camping. It is always not crowded here, there is no fuss and noise, and time flows so measuredly that sometimes it seems that it has stopped. It is better not to have a rest on Cape Sarych with small children. Firstly, the nearby beaches are all rocky, and you have to get to them on huge boulders. Secondly, there are not even springs near this fabulous place, and therefore you must take drinking water with you.

Currently, there is a camping site, which offers a place in a tent and Three meals a day, and a recreation center where vacationers live in wooden cottages without amenities. On my own behalf, I can add that people go here not for convenience, but in order to lose touch with modern reality at least for a while. Personally, about my vacation at Cape Sarych, I only saved pleasant impressions and amazing photos.

A bit of history

First of all, it should be noted that Cape Sarych is the most southern point Crimean peninsula and is located at a distance of 30 kilometers from Sevastopol, to which it belongs administratively. The exact origin of the name is still unknown. The most plausible version is that Sarych, translated from the Turkic language, means yellow - golden, like the color of the soil on the cape. At this small end of the land in November 1914, a battle took place between a squadron of the Black Sea Fleet and the German-Turkish battleships, the result of which was the shameful flight of the wounded enemy.

At the very beginning of the Great Patriotic War, the steamer "Lenin" heroically died near the cape, on board of which were the inhabitants of the evacuated Odessa.

In 1898, a navigational lighthouse was erected at one of the extremities of the cape, which is still considered operational, and therefore it is not possible to get into its territory.

Walking along the path in his direction, I came across a high fence, on top of which barbed wire was wound. In Soviet times, the entire territory of Cape Sarych was guarded, and tourists could not get here. Today, with the exception of the protected area, the site is open to visitors and swimming.

Terrain features

Cape Sarych is the end of the slope of the Baydarskaya Yaila mountain range. Almost throughout its entire length, you will find different sizes of boulders and boulders, on top of which grows juniper woodlands. By personal experience I can say that the coast here is uninhabited and a little "wild", which, in principle, is of interest to tourists.

Some plants that grow on the slopes of Cape Sarych are listed in the Red Book, for example, tall juniper and dull-leaved pistachio.

The few beaches located on the slopes of the promontory have an awkward approach and consist of pebbles and boulders. I especially want to note the indescribable transparency of the water, which is somewhat colder here than in the neighboring bays.

The coastline of the cape is pitted with numerous limestone fractures, in the thickness of which fossilized coral deposits are often found. In general, if you dream of seeing a corner with untouched nature, surrounded by picturesque rocks, then I highly recommend visiting Cape Sarych.

How to get there

Cape Sarych is located 30 kilometers from Sevastopol and 40 kilometers from Yalta.

You can get here from both cities on passing intercity buses or by our own vehicles.

Road from Sevastopol

Administratively, Cape Sarych belongs to Sevastopol and is subordinate to the local administration.

There are no direct bus routes, and therefore those who want to get here on public transport, should be prepared for the fact that part of the path, about three kilometers, will have to be covered on foot.

Going by bus

All buses that follow in the direction of Yalta pass by Cape Sarych. They leave from the city bus station, which is located at st. Vokzalnaya 11.

Transport runs from 6 am to 10 pm, and the frequency of movement is on average 25 minutes. The ticket will cost 70 rubles per person. The driver must be warned to stop at the stop "Cape Sarych". Then you should turn off the highway onto an asphalt road that leads to the sea and move along it, without turning anywhere.

The asphalt ends near the Sarych recreation center, to the right of which is the Yuzhak camping. If you come with your own tent, then you can proceed further down the paths and choose a place to rest on your own.

By car

On your own car from Sevastopol, you should leave along General Melnik Street and follow in the direction of the Yalta Ring, on which you turn towards the Yuzhnoberezhnoye Highway. Before reaching the village three kilometers, you need to turn off the road to the right and start descending along a winding asphalt road down to the sea. Direction for the turn will be the direction signs, as well as a huge red-and-white TV tower, standing near the turn. You can get to the gates of the recreation center, near which only guests of the boarding house can leave their car for free.

For everyone else, parking will cost 300 rubles per day or 50 rubles / hour. I do not advise looking for a place for a car on the cape itself, since the place is surrounded by numerous stone boulders, moreover, there are cliffs.

Way from Yalta

If you get to Cape Sarych from Yalta, then the road will take about 1 hour, during which it will be necessary to overcome about 45 kilometers.

By bus

All buses that go in the direction of Sevastopol from the city bus station located at st. Moscow 8.

They run from 6 am to 10 pm every 25 minutes. The fare is 75 rubles per person. It is better to tell the driver in advance to stop at Cape Sarych. From the stop to the sea, you should move in the same way as from Sevastopol.

We go by car

By car from Yalta along Voikova Street, you should go to the Yuzhnoberezhnoe Highway and drive along it in the direction of Sevastopol for about 40 kilometers.

After the village, it will be necessary to turn left from the highway and go down to the sea along a winding asphalt road. Turning landmarks, like the road itself, are described in detail just above.

Rest savage

If you have included a visit to Cape Sarych in your tourist route, then I advise you to go there for a few days, taking with you a tent, food, and most importantly drinking water. Finding a place for a tent is not difficult. There are many comfortable shady places, including near the sea.

You should be prepared for the fact that even the mobile communication at Cape Sarych does not work stably, very often in order to pick up a signal, you have to climb a hill.

The only place where you can buy drinks and food nearby is a small tent near the entrance to the recreation center.

The range of goods here is meager, although the prices are not much different from the city ones:

  • 0.5 liter beer for 70 rubles;
  • mineral water 1.5 liters from 55 rubles;
  • cookies from 40 per two-hundred-gram pack;
  • canned fish from 40 rubles.

You can charge your phone only in a camping or at a recreation center, and even then only by agreement with vacationers. In case of emergency, you can also ask them for drinking water.

The nearest first-aid post and food market there are shops in the village, which is located about five kilometers from Cape Sarych. You can get there on foot, and in this case you will have to travel about half an hour along a winding path. More convenient way to get into a settlement is to go up the highway and take any bus going in the direction of Yalta.

Transport runs quite often, about once every 25 minutes, you will have to pay 10 rubles for the journey, and you need to get off at the next stop.

Beaches on Cape Sarych

On Cape Sarych there are only wild beaches, the territory of which is dotted with boulders, which vacationers have long been using instead of sun loungers. Conventionally, three places can be distinguished, at least somehow adapted for swimming.

On the left side, if you look at the sea near the water, there are those who consider themselves to be nudists. Here you can hide from prying eyes behind large stones and rocks, which are located right in the sea.

I liked the main beach, which is located in the center of the cape. On its territory, there are also enough rocky boulders, but there are also convenient pebble approaches to the water.

The place on the left side is mainly used by those who like to dive, since there is a fairly large depth here, and the coast is a rocky surface.

Camping

If you want to get at least some conveniences while resting on Cape Sarych, then I recommend staying at the local camping "Yuzhak". Its rather small area is surrounded by a netting. In order to relax here, you do not need to reserve a place in advance. It is enough to go to the person on duty at the entrance and agree on everything. If you are traveling by car, you can leave your car at the camp.

For a fee, you will be offered the required number of places in tents, barbecues, cozy wooden gazebos with benches and tables. There are several dry closets and showers. Prices, as for me, are quite affordable:

  • one place in a four-person tent per day 300 rubles;
  • four-person tent for knocking 800 rubles;
  • car parking on the territory of the camp 200 rubles per day.

The tents have wooden pallets, mattresses and blankets. Lanterns are hung around the campground, and there are sockets for charging phones near each pole.

For campers, drinking water in plastic barrels is delivered daily. Moreover, the camping offers three meals a day for a fee, which is also brought from the city, and is only warmed up in the local canteen.

The food is monotonous enough. Typically, breakfast includes boiled eggs, butter, bread and a variety of pastries. Lunch consists of the first, second and choice of juice. In turn, dinner includes a salad of fresh vegetables and a side dish with a cutlet. The cost of food per day per person is 500 rubles.

Recreation center

More comfortable conditions for recreation can be obtained at the only recreation center, which is named after the Cape "Sarych". It is located on the left side of the campsite in a wooded area. Tourists are accommodated in summer wooden houses, each of which consists of two small rooms, equipped for a two- or three-bed settlement.

A washbasin and refrigerator are located on the veranda of each cottage. Toilet and showers are shared. For vacationers of the boarding house there is a dining room with three meals a day, a first-aid post. Also, residents can park their car for free in a guarded parking lot.

Each room has two or three beds, depending on the number of occupants, bedside tables and a wardrobe, an electrical outlet and a lamp. Bed linen is changed once a week. The cost of living is:

  • per person per day with 3 meals a day - 1100 rubles;
  • without meals, accommodation for one person at knocks will be 600 rubles;
  • children under 5 years old live with their parents free of charge.

There are awning sheds between the cottages; in addition, several wooden gazebos have been built on the territory and places with barbecue facilities have been equipped. Lovers of watching TV in the evening can do so in the dining base. It should be noted that the rooms do not have any air conditioners with Wi-Fi, as well as other modern delights.

Access to the sea is open to all wild beaches of Cape Sarych.

***

Cape Sarych is a quiet beautiful place with almost virgin nature and clean, transparent sea. I recommend to go here on vacation to those who can temporarily give up the benefits of civilization.

In return, you will receive an unforgettable experience and vivid photos that will remind you of the rocky Crimean coast for a long time.

Crimea attracts tourists from all over the country not only with its warm, gentle sea, but also with the opportunity to gain strength in the bosom of nature. For people who prefer to rest in their cars and in tents, the peninsula has a lot of places for location. Some of them are not devoid of basic amenities (shower, toilet), for example, camping " Green cape».

Location and main advantages of the camping "Cape Verde", Crimea

The main advantage of the campsite "Cape Verde" is its location. It is located in the park area of the outskirts of Alupka, one of the most popular resorts in Crimea. Therefore, if you wish, at any time you can go on an excursion to this amazing city.

The proximity to the sea and the benefits of civilization is also an undoubted advantage of the Cape Verde camping in Crimea. The camping area is small, only 10 tents can be accommodated freely. But it is fenced and guarded around the clock. It is so quiet and cozy here that you can fully enjoy your outdoor recreation.

The beach is only 20 meters away, in the "Green Cape" camping in Crimea there are showers and toilets. The tents are installed on special boards made of wood, which makes the rest comfortable. A canteen, various shops and even a hairdresser's are just a stone's throw away, so a person does not feel isolated from the world around him.

All guests of the camping can not worry about the safety of things and their safety, since the camping is not only surrounded by a reliable fence, but also guarded. You can set up a tent or a car under the shade of numerous trees, giving coolness even in the sunshine. From any point of the "Green Cape" in Crimea, a stunning view opens up to one of the main attractions of the Alupka environs - Mount Ai-Petri.

It is worth noting one more positive point - on the campground there is an opportunity to charge a mobile phone or laptop for free. All of the above, together with the purest air filled with the aroma of juniper, make your camping trip comfortable and useful. Of course, the low cost of accommodation cannot be ignored.

Top 10 tent camps in Crimea

I don’t know about you, but my family really likes camping. And in Crimea we stayed in tent city, and camped on the Black Sea coast.

Now, in connection with the introduction of sanctions against our country, many citizens refuse to rest. They say that you will not find the usual service abroad in Russia, and there are no places where you can go so that the quality matches the price. And in order to break the stereotype in Russia, we propose to go by car with a tent or camper to Crimea and we suggest that you familiarize yourself with popular camping sites on the Black Sea coast.

This is our distant campsite three years ago: our first overnight stay in Crimea in a tent in 2015

Below will be presented ten stunning campsites in Crimea, where you can spend an unforgettable vacation. The so-called "wild rest" is an excellent choice in favor of fresh air, impressions and vigor for a long time. This type of recreation is suitable for tourists who are not allowed luxury to stay in a boarding house or hotel with all the conveniences, but also for those who like to spend their holidays this way. There is enough space for camping in Crimea, with the exception of protected areas and settlements... The campsites are located near the sea on the beach line with equipped places for toilet, shower and fresh water.

Such cities as Novy Sudak, Koktebel, Alushta and others are suitable for a "savage" rest.

The way to the camping in Crimea

For the rest of the "savage" you need to travel by car. The car allows its passengers to visit various cities, visit unique places, stop for a swim in wild places. Traveling with a company, you can save on gas. When traveling to Crimea, the following points should be taken into account: a long road (you need a navigator or another person to replace the driver), observance of the speed limit and patience in traffic jams on the highways. Having reached the Kerch ferry, the car enters the ferry and then unloads on the other side. There are car parks where the car is parked and a bus and ferry are offered to continue the journey.

What dangers can lie in wait for campers in tents?

If they bite, you should immediately consult a doctor. Drink only boiled water, stay overnight at safe place avoiding cliffs and slopes. Do not swim in thunderstorms and storms.
