Every time I return home from a tourist trip, I catch myself thinking: "How good it is at home!"
But some time passes and you begin to ask yourself, why do you actually live here, if theoretically you could live in any other place on earth?
And is there a place that has all the positive characteristics of the current location, but has some other advantages, provided that living in it is economically justified.
To make it clear what the essence of "an economically justified place of permanent residence" is, I will give a rough example.
1) We earn 100 rubles a year in the Russian Federation, pay 13 rubles in taxes, live in Switzerland in place X for 25 rubles a year. By the end of the year, 63 rubles remain in our pocket.
2) We live permanently in place X in Switzerland, earn 100 rubles a year, pay 70 rubles in taxes and live on 20 rubles a year. So, we moved to permanent residence instead of long-term tourism in city X and at the end of the year only 10 remained in our pocket instead of 63 rubles. do that? The choice is made from two sides, what you want and what you don’t want.
I am writing my opinion, it is subjective and takes into account my personal situation, but I think that it will be useful for many who have the opportunity to choose and, like me, are overcome by similar thoughts from time to time.
I am aware of all the resources of those departing, immigrating, those who feel bad and others "it's time to blame."
I read it, found little to do with what I need and is interested in.
It’s not time for me to get down, I’m not stuffy in Putin’s dictatorship, and I’m not looking for a place where I can find a job.
In addition, my family and I feel great here and now, there is no need to "blame" somewhere.
We live in nice house in a safe guarded command post, in excellent ecology, it is quiet here, near all the conditions for various hobbies that I suffer from :) and a wonderful company of like-minded neighbors has formed.
I am personally very pleased with the tax regime in the Russian Federation, which allows you to be 100% "white", pay all taxes and keep most of your earnings.
But there are a number of negative points that can either be solved locally, but expensive, or obtained somewhere else by default, and there are a number of points that are, in principle, unattainable here.
Since the situation (not tied to a location, work, finances, children at an age that is easy to adapt, etc.) allows, the choice at first seems huge.
Therefore, it is necessary to introduce criteria of unacceptability and weed out the unnecessary. Out of the box, after dropping out there are not so many places left where our person can live well.
1) Security. It makes no sense to build a family nest in a place where the security of life and property is at a low level.

2) Culture, religion, customs.
The countries of Islam are good for those who profess it and are harmful to the lives of infidels, that is to say, us.

Forget about the North Caucasus. Great nature, often wonderful people, but living in Georgia-Armenia, Ossetia, Dagestan or Chechnya is not an option for a (non) Caucasian at all. (Adygea, by the way, is also there, dosvidos.)

Therefore, we sweep aside all the "frostbitten". Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Alaska in America and everything on the right on the map in Russia - it's cold there and little sun.

4) Language. Despite the fact that I had periods when I thought, spoke and wrote in Hebrew and English for several years of my life, and by and large I don’t care what language to interact with the environment in, I think that only countries are suitable for permanent residence where Russian is either English dominate.Russian because we already know, English because we also know, because it is international and the most promising for children to learn.
These are not all the criteria, but the choice has already narrowed down to 15 countries, some of which are English-speaking, and some belonged to the Soviet bloc.
