The Airbus A321-100 airliners entered service in early 1994 and are currently the largest members of the A320 family. A321 received an elongated fuselage compared to other models in the series, and at the same time increased passenger capacity. Two pilots take part in the management of the A321 passenger airliner. The control is carried out using the French digital complex Efis.

This complex includes 6 large-format multifunctional displays, which display all flight and navigation information.

Also, this system monitors all malfunctions and displays them on displays, which allows pilots to receive detailed information about the flight and the state of the 321 aircraft.

Catastrophes Airbus A321-100 / 200

In October 2015, a terrorist attack was committed on board the A321 aircraft, which was making a scheduled flight from Egypt to Russia. The liner belonged to the Russian airline Kogalymavia.

After taking off from Sharm el-Sheikh, the airliner disappeared from radar, after a while there was a wreck on the Sinai Peninsula.

On board the aircraft, which made the last flight A321, there were 224 people, including 7 crew members and 25 children. After receiving information from the found black boxes, the main reason for the crash of the plane was the explosion of an improvised explosive device in the tail of the plane.
