We returned from the hotel after a family holiday a few days ago. The overall impression is wonderful! This is our third visit to Mallorca. Before that, we stayed at the Iberostar and Prinsotel hotels on the north coast and I can say that Insotel is also a decent chain. The rooms are great, spacious for a family of 4. I cannot fail to note the amazing soundproofing: we had a bar for adults under our windows, where live music was played several times a week. When the balcony door is closed, nothing is heard! Therefore, if you sleep with air conditioning, do not worry about the sleep of children. If with an open balcony door - then yes, audibility, of course, will be. We lived in Building A and we think it is the most convenient if you plan to spend most of your time on the beach, not by the pool. Aquapark inbuilding C in the hotel is small, but it will be quite interesting for children. The sunbeds at all the pools in all the buildings are, in fact, occupied very early by vacationers. We came to the pool at about 17:00 after the beach - at this time it is full of already empty ones. Cala Mandia beach is located next to building A. It is quite wide for a bay with a gentle entry into the sea, but there are often waves, so we always went to another beach. Cala Anguila. The shortest way to reach it is to climb the stairs, which are located on the left side of the Cala Mandia beach. Walk for 10 minutes at a slow pace. If you are with a stroller, then it is more convenient to follow the road immediately to the right of the reception, walk past the villas and turn right at the restaurant. The time will also be approximately. This bay seemed to us more picturesque, and the water there was cleaner (no algae at all). But it is also more popular, there are more people there. It is not very convenient to walk up the hill and then up the stairs to Cala Romantica beach. You can just walk there in the evening. Also a pretty bay. She will be to the right of Cala Mandia. The food at the hotel is varied. Everything was delicious in our opinion. The son really liked the local soups during lunch, and the daughter did not like them. Everyone has different tastes. My husband and I liked everything :) Fast food is usually presented in any hotel. The only question is whether your children eat only it, if it is available, or they are indifferent to it. As mentioned in the previous review, as such, there is no baby food for kids at all, although a huge number of Europeans vacationing there were with small children in a restaurant. There are lines for lunch and dinner if you arrive at the so-called most popular time. But this queue takes about 10 minutes at most. You will come a little earlier - there will be no queues at all, if it is important for someone. All hotel staff are very friendly (from reception to maids). Guests from all countries are treated equally warmly. They try to communicate even in Russian. One of the Italian animators (Anthony) is half Russian. He speaks excellent Russian. In general, I would like to note all the animators for their attention, sincerity, and smiles. Be sure to take your car to Arneda. There are a couple of offices near the hotel. Mallorca is very beautiful. With each of our visits to the island, we discover new attractions. The hotel itself is in a very quiet place, but it only made us happy. The exterior area is extraordinary. You can relax on one of the 4 sun loungers located in the 30 m2 terrace with direct views to the sea. If you prefer to have an appetiser, take a sit in the 12 m2 porch, completely furnished, and admire the natural landscape. The barbecue will allow you to enjoy cooking by the sea. This home offers accommodation on 220 m2 and has 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed each, wardrobes and fans. There are two bathrooms with a bathtub; One on each floor. We can supply 1 cot in case you need one. The nicely decorated sitting-dining room is perfect to watch satellite television, read a book or have dinner with your friends. The independent kitchen is fully-equipped, including a ceramic hob. You will access the laundry through the second bedroom, and there you will find 1 washer, 1 dryer, 1 iron and 1 ironing board.
Information about the area
The sea is almost on the doorstep! This extraordinary home has a private access to the sea (cliff) and is only 50m from the sandy beach of Cala Mandia. Portocristo is only 3km away and there you will find a wide range of restaurants, stores, bars and much more. A safari-zoo and playgrounds are also quite close. If nightlife is what you are searching for, in Cala Millor and Cala Ratjada are lots of pubs and discotheques. Portocristo is known for its caves ("Cuevas del Drach"), which have been formed by the Mediterranean Sea. Hidden within the caves is "Llac Mantel", a subterranean lake and along its banks, regularly take place concerts of classical music.
