Boeing 777 airline. The plane that flies the farthest! Interior and interior layout

In late winter - early spring 2013, Aeroflot purchased 16 Boeing 777 300ER aircraft. Designed for long-haul flights, they have a General Electric GE90 twin-engine turbofan engine. These aircraft were created in the early 90s, their drawings were completely made on computers. This is the first line of machines produced in this way.

Another feature is the six-wheel chassis, which provides a soft landing, as well as a very spacious and at the same time comfortable for all passengers interior. Let's take a closer look at the Boeing 777 300ER cabin layout.

Airplane interior

All 777 aircraft have a peculiar curvilinear interior, the size of the cabinets for carry-on luggage and portholes have been increased. The seats in the cabin, kitchens and toilet cubicles are mobile, and airlines arrange them at their discretion in the aircraft.

In total, it accommodates 402 passengers. They are located in three service sectors and have a different category of comfort.

On the Boeing 777 300ER cabin layout, business class, comfort and economy class are highlighted. We will tell you more about them.

Business class seats

On the nose of the aircraft, the first five rows of seats can accommodate 30 passengers. These seats are located in two seats on the left, right and in the middle of the cabin. The side seats have access to windows, the dimensions of which are 380 × 250 mm. The distance between the rows is free, 1.5 meters, so it is convenient to get out, if necessary, without catching a neighbor. Based on the cabin layout, the best seats in the Boeing 777 300ER are business class.

The chairs are made as comfortable as possible. A 15.4 ″ monitor is placed in front of each passenger. The chair itself has an interesting structure. Its plastic back remains in place, and the padded part folds out forward. So even if the neighbor in front fully unfolds the chair and lies down to sleep on the resulting bed, then the person sitting in the back will not cause any inconvenience.

The photo shows how the seat is laid out in this sector of the aircraft. But besides this, on the Boeing 777 300ER (according to the cabin layout), the best seats are occupied by passengers who have additional options for individual ordering of food in a restaurant. You can only make reservations on board the aircraft. Your favorite dish will be prepared and served. But, of course, you will have to pay a round sum of money for such a service, because a plane ticket in this class is not cheap.

Comfort class

The next level of comfort according to the Boeing 777 300ER cabin layout is considered to be seats from 11 to 16 rows. Each of them has 8 seats, with sufficient passage.

Such a compartment is designed for 48 passenger seats. Each seat has its own small lamp, and in front there is an individual monitor measuring 10.6 inches.

For the convenience of passengers, a comfortable footrest has been made for the legs, and in sleep mode, a special system has been developed to extend not the backrest, but the seat cushions. This method does not disturb people from the front and back.

Economy class

The remaining 324 people are located in several compartments of the aircraft, which occupy the middle and tail of the aircraft. According to the cabin layout, in the Boeing 777 300ER, the best seats in economy class are located in the aisle cusps. There are double seats at the portholes, if a couple is traveling, they will be more comfortable together.

The distance between the seats of this class is 90 cm. Some passengers consider the most comfortable seats in front of the partition with the toilet. There the distance for the legs is greater and you can stretch them forward.

The most uncomfortable in this class, if you look at the layout of the Boeing 777 300ER, people call the last seats in each compartment. This is because these seats cannot be fully folded back. This makes it difficult to get into a comfortable sleeping position.

First class aircraft of the JET fleet

Long-haul aircraft flying to China, North, and Europe are assigned the Jet prefix. The best seats in the Boeing 777 300ER JET are considered the first class, which has only 8 seats. They unfold completely, turning into a sleeping place. In addition, an eight-point massage chair with lumbar support.

The first class section is closed by doors and you can invite a guest into your section, for whom there is a small sofa.

The personal compartment has LED backlighting, 23-inch monitor, communications, power supply, lockers for personal belongings. Everything is done for the convenience of distinguished guests. But the cost of the ticket is also appropriate.

Business class JET

If we carefully consider the cabin layout of the Boeing 777 300ER JET, we will see quite good seats in the business class. The location of the seats - 1 - 2 - 1. The seats are at an angle of 45 degrees towards the direction of the aircraft, in the shape of a herringbone. They unfold completely so that passengers can sleep well during the flight.

Of the 30 seats, only the seats located next to the galley are disliked. They complain that every time the curtain was pulled up, all the smells from the kitchen came out into the salon. Although, mostly, the reviews are positive.

Convenient monitors are built into the partitions; a power supply is suitable, where you can recharge your shaver or your phone.

The rest of the airplane seats are occupied by passengers in economy class.

When buying tickets, especially if you have a long-distance flight, it is recommended to carefully consider the aircraft layout. Even if you want to save money and do not take tickets to expensive compartments, you can choose more convenient places in economy class where the kitchen is far away, the toilet is also, but the passage, where there is more legroom, is nearby.

The Boeing 777-300ER is a long-haul wide-body aircraft, a modification of the 777-300 with increased take-off weight and capacity.

The Boeing 777-300ER modification features tapered and lengthened wingtips, new main landing gear legs, a reinforced front strut and additional fuel tanks. The fuselage, wings, empennage and engine pylons are also reinforced.

The standard GE90-115B turbofan engines on this model are by far the most powerful jet engines in the world and have a maximum thrust of 513 kN. The maximum range is 14 690 kilometers, which became possible due to the increased maximum take-off weight and fuel capacity. The range of the 777-300ER fully loaded has been increased by approximately 34% over the 777-300. After flight tests, the introduction of new engines, wings and an increase in take-off weight, fuel consumption dropped by 1.4%.

The first Boeing 777-300ER was delivered to Air France on April 29, 2004. In September 2010, the Boeing 777-300ER became the best-selling Boeing 777, surpassing the 777-200ER.

The location and numbering of seats in the cabin, the scheme of seats in the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Better and less comfortable seats on the plane

Today Aeroflot is actively operating 16 aircraft. The aircraft cabin comfortably accommodates 402 passengers and 3 classes of service: business (30 seats), comfort (48 seats) and economic (324 seats).

Business class - first 5 rows.

  • All seats here are comfortable and comfortable. Modern design, individual menu, entertainment system and excellent service.

Comfort class with11 to 16 rows.

  • A separate salon is provided for this class. The name of the class speaks for itself. There are very comfortable chairs, the backs of which do not recline back, and the surface "leaves" forward, without interfering with the passengers sitting behind you. Each chair is equipped with its own hinged light source, footrest, large comfortable fold-out table and a 10.6-inch monitor. Meals: hot dishes from the business class menu.
  • 11 row. There is a partition in front of the seats in this row, so there is not much legroom. And the chairs, numbered F, G, H and K, are closest to the toilet. Moreover, this is a business class toilet, for comfort class passengers there is a toilet in the economy class cabin.

    In 12, 15 and 16 rows the porthole is inconveniently located.

Economy class- from 17 to 51 rows. He divided into 3 salons.

    17 seat row A, C, H, K. Comfortable places. There is enough legroom, the backrests are well reclined. There are two seats, perfect for a two-person flight.

    20 row. There is no porthole.

    17, 24 and 39 rows, seats D, E, F, G. The huge advantage is that there are no passengers in the front and no one will throw the back of their seat on you. But the entire flight will have to look at the wall, and you will not be able to stretch your legs in front. Also, 24 row is close to toilets and 39 - to the kitchen. This is an extra bustle around these places.

    18 row C and H. Comfortable places. There are no chairs in front of them and enough free meta to stretch your legs and take a comfortable position.

    Seats in 23, 36, 37, 50, 51 rows located near toilets and kitchens, which can cause slight discomfort. But here the backs of the seats are reclined and it is convenient in flight.

  • Seats 24 and 38 rows located behind emergency exits, so there is a lot of free space in front
  • Good spots in green are in rows 24 and 38. Emergency exits in front of them suggest an increase in free space in front. However, for safety reasons, elderly passengers, passengers with children and animals, disabled people and pregnant women are not allowed to sit here. Also, you must not block the approaches to the hatches with your hand luggage.

    Seats in the 46th row, C and H. The backs of the seats here "protrude into the aisle" a little, so they can be touched by passengers and flight attendants with trolleys.

    Places from 47 to 51 rows: A, C, H, K. Due to the narrowing of the fuselage, there are two seats that are ideal for a pair of flights.

Emirates Airlines is the largest operator of Boeing 777-300 passenger aircraft. In total, the airline's fleet includes 102 such airliners. Accordingly, with such a number, there are different layouts of the cabin. There are 4 of them. The most popular configuration is the Emirates Boeing 777-300 - 12 first class seats, 42 business class seats and 310 economy class seats. We will give a detailed description of this configuration.

First class (1-2 rows).

  • Most comfortable for the flight. There are very comfortable chairs that fold out almost 180 degrees, an exquisite menu, and a high level of service.

Business class (with6 to 11 rows)... Also very comfortable chair-beds, the step between the rows is about 1.5 meters. There are some remarks on the place of this class:

  • Rows 7 and 8 are close to the kitchen and toilets. These are more hectic places during day and night hours alike. Places 7A and 7K moreover, they do not have a porthole.
  • 11 row located closest to the economy class. There is a very thin partition, so the noise is not blocked.

Economy class (with16 to 50 rows).

    Row 16 is the standard row in front of the divider. There are attachments for baby bassinets here, which is very convenient for parents, but the neighborhood with small children can make the flight uncomfortable for other passengers. Folding tables and an individual screen are housed in one of the armrests, making it immobile. On the seats of this row, you must not place carry-on baggage on the floor during take-off and landing. A big plus of these seats is the absence of passengers in front and the confidence that the back of your seat will not be thrown back on you.

    21 row. The backs of the chairs rest against the wall of the toilet and are limited in reclining. Also, the places are located next to the toilets, and this is always unnecessary fuss, walking and extraneous sounds.

    23 row. Close to toilets. Places 23A and 23K do not have a full-fledged porthole. A small window is located on the emergency door. The table and monitor are located in the armrest. Passengers with children and animals, disabled people and the elderly are prohibited from staying in these places. You cannot obstruct the approaches with hand luggage. A big plus in the ample legroom.

    35 and 36 rows located close to the kitchen.

    37 row has the same pros and cons as 23. Plus, the free space in front is often used by passengers from other rows to walk, stretch their legs.

    38 row D, E, F, G- good places. However, they are primarily used for passengers with small children.

    45C and 45H- the backs of the seats stick out a little into the main salon. They can be caught by passing people and flight attendants with carts.

    48A, B, J, K- the backs of the seats are limited in reclining. The onboard entertainment server is located under the seat in front. This means less legroom.

    50 row- the backs rest against the wall of the kitchen and close to the toilets.

  • Flight range: 14954 km
  • Liner capacity: economy class - 550 passengers, economy / business - 479 passengers, economy / business / first class - 365 passengers
The Boeing 777-300ER has the largest landing gear legs and largest tires ever used in a commercial jet. Each tire from the 777-300ER main six-wheel strut can carry 27 tonnes.

The Boeing 777 was designed for long-haul routes with a solid passenger capacity. It holds the leading position in the world as the largest twin-engine wide-body aircraft. It was the Boeing 777 that set the flight range record among all existing passenger airliners - 21,601 km.

Boeing 777 modifications

To date, 6 operating modifications of the aircraft are in operation and 2 are under development.

  1. The 777-200 was originally produced for American carriers. This is the version with the minimum range for the Boeing 777 family. Now it is no longer produced,
  2. 777-200ER is an extended range modification for international airlines.
  3. 777-200LR - has the longest flight range among all the family liners. An absolute record was shown on this plane. It can operate a flight without refueling between almost any airports in the world capable of receiving the liner.
  4. 777-300 - has an elongated fuselage. With a single-class cabin layout, it can accommodate up to 550 passenger seats, which has increased its popularity among Japanese airlines, where routes are notable for their congestion.
  5. 777-300ER - The extended-range version has the most powerful jet engines in the world and is the most purchased Boeing 777 model.
  6. The 777 Freighter is a cargo model of the liner. Excellent operational characteristics of the aircraft - high payload (103 tons), ease of maintenance, economical fuel consumption made it in demand in the freight market.
Interesting! Boeing 777-200ER in March 2003 set the record for flying on a single engine in emergency conditions - 177 minutes.

Passenger compartment plan

Among the various options for the layout of the cabin, the most popular is the three-class one. The capacity of the various models ranges from 301 (three classes) to 550 (one class). With a three-class cabin plan, passengers are accommodated in the following compartments:

  • Business Class;
  • comfort class;
  • Economy class.

The interior design of the cabin uses few right angles, mostly smooth, rounded lines. Above the seats there are spacious shelves for carry-on luggage, soft side lighting. Before the Dreamliner, the Boeing 777 had the largest windows. Airlines can quickly change the configuration of the cabin, move bathrooms, armchairs, and kitchens at will. The toilet uses an original design of the toilet lid - it closes slowly with the help of a hydraulic hinge.

Interesting! On the Boeing 777, for the first time in 2003, separate seats (beds and armchairs) were equipped for the crew to rest. They are located above the main cockpit and equipped with ladders. Some of the beds were installed in the tail. Now they are equipped with other Boeing models.

Business Class

In business class, the seating arrangement can be of several types, more often it is 2-2-2. In total, there are from two to five rows.

The kitchen and toilets are in the bow, an additional kitchen block and bathrooms are located behind the last row.

Business class differences:

  • wide comfortable armchairs that transform into beds as needed;
  • first-class service with a choice of an individual menu;
  • liquid crystal monitors for video entertainment.

All seats in business class are considered comfortable, it all depends on the personal inclinations of passengers.

Comfort class

In the comfort class, the seating arrangement is 2-4-2. Branch characteristics:

  • the seats are wider and more comfortable than in the economy class, the distance between the rows is also much greater;
  • when unfolding the backrest, the seat moves forward a little, which does not cause discomfort to the passenger sitting behind;
  • seats are equipped with individual monitors and large tables;
  • passengers are provided with an improved menu.

In total, the "comfort" class occupies 5 rows. The armchairs of the first row of this department can partly be recognized as inconvenient places, since they are located immediately behind the business-class toilet room.

Important! Comfort class passengers do not have their own bathroom and use the economy class toilet.

Economy class

Economy class has the most cramped conditions, but there is enough personal space, according to the standards. The seats are arranged according to the 3-4-3 scheme, and in the aft section, where the fuselage narrows, 2-4-2.

The interior space is divided into 3 parts by emergency exits. Toilet rooms are also located here. Kitchen block at the end of the cabin and in the area of the second emergency exit.

The best seats are right behind the emergency exits due to the increased space in the front. By numbering, this can be - 17, 24 and 38 rows (to be specified with the air carrier). But these same seats are located right behind the toilets, which not everyone will like.

Row seating in front of toilets will also be hectic. These are the 23rd, 36, 37, 50, 51 rows.

Passengers flying together may like the twin seats at the back of the liner.

Design features

Features of structural units of the liner, its design and manufacture:

  1. How many engines does a Boeing 777 have to fly such a huge machine? Like the overwhelming majority of modern jet aircraft - two, but the largest and most powerful in the history of aircraft construction. The diameter of one of the engines installed on the liner, the GE90-115B, is only 0.3 m smaller than the width of the Boeing 737's cabin.
  2. The huge dimensions of the aircraft should determine how much the Boeing weighs. In fact, its weight is significantly lower than it might seem, thanks to the use of composite materials. They are used to make aerodynamic fairings, main floor beams for passengers, elevators - 9% of all parts.
  3. The wings of the aircraft are wider and thicker than those of other airliners, and their design is optimized for cruising speed. This contributed to an increase in the range, flight altitude.
  4. The chassis consists of six wheels with powerful struts, which distinguishes the Boeing 777 from other aircraft. One tire carries a 27-ton load.
  5. The liner has three hydraulic systems that back up each other, while one must be used during landing.
  6. To provide emergency power under the fuselage, there is a retractable wind turbine.
  7. The spacious cockpit has a simple design and is equipped with a fly-by-wire electronic control system, but it was decided to leave the traditional steering wheels. Avionics is fully programmable. Fiber optic cables for avionics were used for the first time on a commercial aircraft.
Interesting! When designing the Boeing 777, for the first time in history, drawings on paper were not used, only computer graphics in a three-dimensional image. Thanks to the preliminary computer assembly of the liner, it was possible to get rid of production errors.

History of creation

The first work on the creation of the Boeing 777 began in the 70s of the last century. According to the idea of the company's engineers, it was necessary to update several manufactured models at once and supplement them with new ones. These were versions of aircraft 757, 767 with two engines and the new 777 airliner.

Interesting! Initially, the Boeing 777 was designed as a three-engine, but the developers encountered difficulties in the design of the tail section, and the project was frozen indefinitely.

The development of projects 757 and 767 was successfully completed. And then it turned out that the company's line of aircraft lacks a long-haul aircraft capable of transcontinental transportation of a large number of passengers. The company was also prompted to defrost the project by the work of the Airbus aviconcern on the creation of the Airbus A330, which would occupy a free segment of the market.

At first, the engineers planned not to create a new family, but to develop a new modification of the Boeing 767, which was given the name 767-X. There it was envisaged to lengthen the fuselage, increase the wings. According to the project, the new airliner was designed for 340 passenger seats with a flight range of 13,500 km.

This concept was not understood by the airlines. They wanted to have a saloon with an easily changeable configuration. Another condition was to reduce operating costs. As a result of a significant design change, the new Boeing 777 was introduced.

Interesting! For the first time in history, the development of a new liner was carried out in close contact with representatives of air carriers and passengers. Never before has consumer opinion been dominant in the design phase.

1990 - the beginning of work on the creation of the Boeing 777, and after 5 years the liner went on its first commercial flight.

In 2013, the airline began developing new aircraft models of the family - 777-8X, 777-9X.

Place of production

The Boeing 777 is manufactured at its main facility in Seattle, Washington. This plant is located in Everett, near Seattle. There is an assembly plant, and components are supplied from almost all states of the United States. In total, more than 600 suppliers from different countries are involved in the manufacture of the aircraft.

Interesting! There are no indoor spaces in the world larger than Boeing's Seattle facility. The total length of its facade is 4 km.

It takes about four months from the start of assembly to the dispatch of the finished liner.

Operating companies

A total of 40 airlines operate Boeing 777. The largest number of aircraft belongs to Emirates (United Arab Emirates), Air France (France), Singapore Airlines (Singapore), United Airlines (USA).

The cost of different models

Now the production of models 777-200 and 777-300 has already been discontinued. For other modifications, the base price is given, but it may vary depending on the configuration.

Development prospects

The airline promises to present new modifications of the Boeing 777X by 2020, although some technical data of the liners are known:

  1. It is assumed that the last member of the family will be the largest aircraft in the world. At the same time, fuel consumption will be reduced.
  2. The contract for the supply of engines was signed with General Electric. The diameter of the fan will be 3.35 m. No larger jet motors are produced in the world. Composite blades will reduce the overall load on the engine, extending engine life.
  3. The wings will be made of composite materials. The groundwork is taken as a basis for the creation of the Dreamliner.
  4. The wing design is being changed in order to improve aerodynamic qualities.

More than 1,500 Boeing 777s have already been sold as of fall 2017, but competition with Airbus forces us to continually make improvements and modifications to the aircraft. The liners have won a high reputation among airlines and passengers, and new developments should provide an advantage over other aircraft of this class.

Watch a video about the Boeing 777 - the best airliner of the 20th century.

The Boeing 777 is a long-range twin-engine airliner with a wide fuselage. The aircraft has more than three hundred passenger seats and, depending on the modification, can fly from 9695 kilometers to 21560 kilometers. Its characteristic feature is the presence of jet engines with the largest diameter in the world. It is about 3.5 meters. Prior to the construction of the aircraft, eight leading air carriers were consulted. The first meeting of the group took place in January 1990. It includes such airlines as: Japan Airlines, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, Delta Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Qantas United Airlines.

Boeing 777 photos

The Boeing 777 was designed to replace the previous generation of wide-body aircraft and to fill the gap between the Boeing 767 and Boeing 747. It is one of the first Boeing aircraft to feature Fly by Wire digital control systems. It is also the first computer-assisted commercial passenger aircraft. Individual aircraft components were developed using 3D CAD CATIA software developed by IBM and Dassault Systemes.

On October 14, 1990, United Airlines placed its first order for 34 Boeing 777s, valued at $ 11 billion. On January 4, 1993, the first "triple sevens" began to be produced. And on April 9, 1994, the first Boeing 777 with the serial number WA001 was produced. The first flight took place on June 12 of the same year. Test flights were conducted for the next eleven months. Nine aircraft were tested in different climates from arid deserts at Edwards Air Force Base in California to cold Alaska. On April 19, 1995, after passing all tests, the Boeing 777 received a certificate of airworthiness from the Federal Flight Administration (FAA) and from the Joint Aviation Administration (JAA).

The Boeing 777 is available in two lengths. The base model 777-200 has a length of 63.7 meters and entered service with United Airlines in 1995. After two years, a model with an extended flight radius was released - 777-200ER (Extended Range). This model first entered service with British Airways. The second version of the Boeing 777 is the 777-300. It is 10.1 meters longer than the 777-200, a version that can accommodate up to 550 passenger seats. This version started flying in 1998.

Boeing 777 cabin layout

In 2004, a version was released - 777-300ER. This version allowed for longer flights than the 777-300. And in 2006, the airline bought a Boeing 777-200LR (Longer Range). During this time, she became the longest-range passenger liner. This model was named "Worldliner". And in 2009, the cargo Boeing 777F (Freighter) began flying. Models 777F, 777-300ER and 777-200LR are equipped with General Electric GE90-115B motors. Also, the curved wingtips are slightly larger to reduce fuel consumption. All other models are powered by GE90, Pratt & Whitney PW4000 engines, or RollsRoyce Trent-800 engines. The cockpit is equipped with Honeywell multifunctional LCD screens. The wings are angled at 31.6 degrees for an optimum cruise speed of Mach 0.83. Each 777-300ER tire from the main landing gear can carry nearly 27 tonnes. There is also a modification for the Air Force. This is the KS-777 model used as an air tanker.

After 2000, the Boeing 777 became the best-selling model of the eponymous manufacturer. The most common option that airlines purchase is the 777-200ER model.

Aeroflot is the largest airline in Russia. In the carrier's fleet, among other reliable aircraft, there are several dozen Boeing liners from the largest American manufacturer. This corporation has 2 divisions, of which Boeing Commercial Airplanes is engaged in civil aviation. The main production facilities for the production of aircraft are located in Seattle, where the world-famous corporation was once born.

Boeing 777

The first models of wide-body aircraft under the index "3 sevens" began to be produced in the early 90s of the last century, they are intended for operation on long-haul routes. The Boeing 777 is completely different from all previous models of this brand, not only in the degree of comfort. This machine can be called the embodiment of a virtual idea, since it was completely developed on a computer.

The 777th liner made its first commercial flight in 1995 and immediately gained popularity. Nowadays, all the leading airlines in the world strive to have cars of this model in their fleet (Russia did not stand aside either). Aeroflot's fleet was replenished from 2013 to 2017 with 16 Boeing 777-300er (type B 77w) airliners, the average age of which is a little over a year.

In total, the corporation has developed several options for liners with 3 sevens:

  • the base model is the Boeing 777-200, designed for a flight range of 4.2 thousand nautical miles (7.78 thousand km);
  • the Boeing 777-200 / ep model is an option for increased range - at least 6.6 thousand nautical miles (12.22 thousand km);
  • 7.8 thousand nautical miles (14.45 thousand km) easily overcome the 777-200 / LR models;
  • The 300th modification is a slightly modified version of the 200th, which received a more elongated fuselage. It has become an excellent replacement for the Boeing 747 model;
  • Boeing 777-300er, which Aeroflot uses on international flights, are designed for increased range and are able to compete with Airbus.

The powerful jet turbofan engines installed on it allow to carry out long flights of this model.

Specifications

Today the Boeing 777-300 / ep is one of the best-selling aircraft in the world due to its technical characteristics. The 2-motor scheme used in the car allowed to reduce operating costs by 9%, and fuel costs by 20%. The main parameters of this model are shown in the table below.

Seating scheme in the aircraft cabin

The Boeing 777-300 / ep aircraft differ in the seating layout. In this model, there are no longer 2 classes of service, but 3:

  • 30 seats with enhanced comfort are allocated for "business";
  • for "economy" - 324 seats;
  • Between the 2 main compartments there is also a “comfort” class for 48 seats.

The layout of the Aeroflot Boeing 777 300 is shown in Fig. below.

Description of places by blocks of rows

The entire Boeing 777-300 / ER inside the cabin is designed for maximum passenger comfort. But, as with any liner, there are good and worse seats (especially for passengers with children). This applies not only to the economy class, such a gradation exists in other compartments.

Business Class

Business Class in the 77w is the ultimate in comfort. Comfortable leather chairs occupy 5 rows and are arranged in a 3x2 pattern (with 2 aisles).

Note! The seats are located one after another at a distance of 150 cm, which allows the chairs to be converted into beds (even in the last row), without causing discomfort to neighbors.

All the seats in the compartment can be called comfortable enough, but there are still unwanted seats: the 1st row is located not far from the toilet. This will not cause aesthetic inconveniences in this class of service, but walking of people can interfere with rest. Although this particular row is preferable for passengers with small children, since there are devices for attaching the cradle.

Comfort class

This compartment is more convenient for passengers as compared to the economy class, but is somewhat inferior to the business option. The arrangement of the seats here is as follows: 6 rows (from 11 to 16) contain 4 chairs in the center, and each of the sides has 2 chairs.

Note! The distance between the seats is optimal so that you can travel reclining. But in this compartment, it is not the backs of the seats that recline, but the seats that move forward, which is convenient for passengers in the back.

The 11th row is provided for passengers with babies, since there is where to hang the cradle. But for others, such a neighborhood may not be entirely desirable. It will be difficult to relax on this row also because of the close-located partition (you cannot fully stretch your legs).

In front of the same row, a toilet is located at the left side, which also cannot be called a pleasant neighborhood. The 16th row is also inconvenient, since a thin partition is installed behind the seats, through which noise is heard from the economy class cabin.

Economy class

The largest compartment is the economic compartment. It is divided into sections - in the middle, each row contains 4 chairs, in the side ones - 3 each (with some exceptions, they are visible in the above diagram).

Most of the seats on the plane are standard, with an average degree of comfort. But here we can highlight some of the features of a number of passenger seats - they are shown in the table below (the layout of the Boeing 777-300 / EP cabin is taken as a basis).

Features of some seats in Economy Class

The ranksPlacesPeculiarities
17 A, C, H, KThere are 2 chairs on each side, which is convenient for traveling as a couple.
D, E, F, GThe absence of seats in the front gives free legroom. The carrycot attachment device allows these seats to be used when traveling with babies.
The disadvantage is the lack of an entertainment monitor, passengers are forced to look at the wall.
18 C, HThere are no seats in the previous row in front of these seats, which provides ample legroom.
20 - The absence of portholes will suit those who like to sleep in flight, but will be inconvenient for those who prefer to look "out the window".
24, 38 - Quite comfortable rows, as there are free seats in front of the seats due to the presence of emergency exits.
The disadvantage is that there is nowhere to attach carry-on luggage, and pregnant women, disabled people, passengers with children and animals are not allowed to fly in these places.
C, HToilets and kitchens located nearby cause inconvenience - smells are constantly felt, and periodic walking of people interferes.
23, 36, 37, 50, 51 Aisle seatsDue to the close location of toilets, the constant movement of passengers interferes, sometimes there are queues.
47-51 - There are 2 armchairs on each side, which already provides some conveniences. Despite the fact that turbulence is more noticeable here, these rows are considered the safest.
The disadvantage is that due to the narrowing of the tail section of the aircraft, the distance between the seats in these rows is denser.

Having studied the layout of the best seats in the Boeing 777-300 / ER cabin and clarified some of the features, it will be easier to book tickets for this Aeroflot aircraft for a long-distance comfortable flight.

If you are unlucky enough to take the highest priority seats on the plane, do not despair. Most of the seats can be quite comfortable if they are located in the middle of the cabin and not adjacent to the aisles. The remoteness of the windows can even be a plus for those who are afraid of flying.

Facilities

Monitors are mounted on the rear walls of the seat backs, allowing passengers to have a little fun during the flight. The entertainment system allows you to enjoy watching interesting films or programs, listening to music and even reading online books. Little passengers will also find entertainment for themselves - they can play computer games or watch their favorite cartoons.

This diversity on board the aircraft ensures Internet accessibility. You can also connect a gadget at hand (mobile phone, tablet, laptop) to it.

Business and comfort classes have large monitors and comfortable wide armrests between the chairs. Each seat is equipped with controlled lighting.

If the price of the issue when buying a ticket does not matter, then choosing a seat on a Boeing 777 aircraft is in the deluxe compartments. But even in economy class, you can accommodate comfortably if you correctly assess the situation and set your own priorities.
