Last New Year's holidays, the family made a wish: “We want summer in the middle of winter.” And, without thinking for long, they implemented it themselves: they bought a tour to Goa - the smallest and most beloved state in hot India. There we spent a whole week escaping the frost and blizzards. Well, how did you escape? In the whirlwind of resort life, I somehow didn’t think about winter.

Goa is the richest place in terms of beaches. The hundred-kilometer beach line stretches continuously. Well-groomed beaches with white luxurious sand are closely adjacent to each other, even if you visit a new one every day, you can compare. That’s what we did, by the way.

Lived in the strip Aguada beach. Our hotel, like all others nearby, was the epitome of luxury: modern, comfortable rooms furnished to European standards, but with a local touch. In the courtyard - swimming pools, hammocks, colorful vegetation and egrets, like a picture from a book of oriental fairy tales come to life.

When our own beach became not enough for us, the whole family set off for adventure. Of the nearby beaches, my family especially captivated Dona Paula, one of the most romantic places in South Goa and Bogmalo- the most convenient (located only 4 km from and 8 km from the town of Vasco da Gamma).

Every day We were pleased with the local weather. Sunny, air temperature +30, water - five degrees lower. We managed to escape to a place of paradise in the middle of January. And conclude that Goa is a holiday destination for everyone:

Here you will be pleasantly surprised by reasonable prices for housing, food, and entertainment. North Goa is very popular among young people.

You may ask what else is interesting about Goa, because beaches, entertainment and restaurants are a standard set inherent in any resort. But this is India! The local color here is so unique that it cannot be confused with any other. In what other corner of the earth can you find thousand year old temple, entwined with vines? Where else can you touch the truths of Ayurveda, not twisted in a European way, but true truths (sorry for the tautology). Where other than India can you enjoy the amazing aromas of spices? Where else can you feel this carefree freedom, if not on the shore of a warm ocean with clear water?
