SATURDAY and we gathered with Natasha and Masha (Valya works hard on hoverboards) to the “40 Years of Victory” beach. Dress for the beach, especially: shorts, a white “Team Governor” cap, glasses, a camera, a backpack on your back. Masha is also with a backpack. The weather was +22 in the morning and there was a cool breeze, Masha grabbed a trowel from her tracksuit (we had become so freezing).
We waited for minibus number 25 and went.
At one of the stops, a woman got in, took her wallet out of her bag and began looking for coins. The driver made a remark to her:
- Next time, have your money ready at the bus stop.
- Don't teach me! - she answered. - I’m already 50 years old!
Another woman sitting opposite said to her in a calm voice:
You can study at 50. I’m already 70, and I believe that it’s never too late to study...
When we got off at the Ulitsa Nekrasova stop, Masha remarked:
- This woman is well preserved, right, mom? Just like Alla Pugacheva!
We went out onto 40 Let Pobeda Street and went to the sea. From the Embankment we looked down: there were waves and a storm on the sea, about 20 meters away the water near the shore was brown, and only beyond this stripe it was blue and then turquoise.
We realized that we wouldn’t have to swim today, and the lifeguard walked along the beach with a megaphone and warned that “swimming is prohibited, there is a strong bottom current...”
There were still a lot of people, people were sunbathing, some were wandering in the waves on the rocks near the shore. We also settled down and undressed. You can sunbathe even in cloudy weather. Although the sun was shining for some time, it was even hot.
What to do on the beach when you can't swim? Look around, build “wells” out of stones, throw pebbles into the water. We took some snacks with us, so after a while we started chewing sandwiches and tomatoes.
The wind, however, was getting stronger, the waves were getting higher and louder, so we quickly got ready and headed out. But, really, not where we came from (and we came along a wide asphalt road along which service vehicles enter the beach), but towards Turgenevsky Descent.
It was then that we were caught by a squally wind and rain. But we managed to take cover under an iron canopy adjacent to some building. Therefore, the wall protected us from the wind, and the roof protected us from the rain.
Yes, I almost forgot. While we were walking, we saw and picked up a silicone slipper. Brand new. Strange human psychology. Natasha picked it up and began to look for the second one. This is when the clouds were already gloomy over us. I, of course, opposed the search, but Natasha continued her persistent search and found it! The second one was also new and the same color, only two sizes larger than the first (38th). After a few more meters, Masha found another slipper. Size 44, and also brand new.
“Probably on the Embankment, some merchant’s counter was blown away by the wind,” Natasha suggested.
We left size 44 on the shore, and took sizes 36 and 38. I especially liked Masha’s slippers - they are translucent with a pink sole.
In general, we waited out the rain.

WE WENT UP to the Embankment, there is freshness in the air, the Embankment has been freshly washed. The view of the sea is amazing - a dark cloud is still driving over the sea, and rain pours from it into the sea. This shower goes somewhere to the side, but then it begins to turn around and carry it in our direction. We are rushing to the city, to the bus stop.
But then we decide to walk along Workers Street. The weather was really wonderful! So we walked home.

If you have problems with movement or are afraid that you or your child may be injured due to stones, then you should choose another beach for relaxation. However, sunbathers in a less crowded place will appreciate the 40th Anniversary of Victory Beach.
